SUMMERWOOD is a handwoven textiles label, launched in 2013.
Focusing on reviving the tradition of Liuyang Summer-cloth, Xiabu, one of the finest handwoven ramie fabrics in the world, SUMMERWOOD works closely with local spinners, weavers and dyers; combined contemporary vision with traditional handcraftship to make the finest organic products.
夏木（SUMMERWOOD）致力于以现代、独立、专注的精神，复兴「浏阳夏布」等传统手工织物。
夏木曾多次参加北京国际设计周，举办有「浏阳夏布小展览」、「夏布邀请展」、「苎麻的剩余价值」，以及二〇一七年与来自日本京都的青土联合举办「青·夏」等展览活动。并于二〇一六年九月纽约时装周期间，在新博物馆以「首届中国专场」亮相，将中国的手织苎麻夏布推向国际视野。
